What is motility monitoring?

Motility monitoring is a set of procedures that allows your doctor to properly examine suspected gastrointestinal motility disorders. For each area of the gastrointestinal tract, there are tests that will assess the different functions of that specific area. Through these tests, your doctor will be able to identify abnormal patterns in the gastrointestinal tract.
