Isaac E. Perry, D.O.
Dr. Perry is an interventional gastroenterologist and performs advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, interventional and diagnostic EUS, luminal stenting, endoscopic suturing, amongst many others. He specializes in pancreaticobiliary diseases, gastrointestinal oncology and management of procedural/surgical complications.
Dr. Perry has also received specialized training and mentorship in third space endoscopy which includes procedures such as POEM (per oral endoscopic myotomy) and ESD (endoscopic submucosal dissection). These procedures treat certain types of swallowing disorders such as achalasia, gastroparesis, and removal of large pre-cancerous/early cancerous lesions.
Dr. Perry received his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Toledo, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and attended medical school at the Edward Via COM in South Carolina. He completed his internal medicine residency at Mercer University School of Medicine/Memorial Health University Medical Center. He then went on to complete his gastroenterology & hepatology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia, where he served as a chief fellow, followed by an advanced endoscopy fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Perry enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. Not forgotten is their sweet Irish doodle, Hudson. A Michigan native, Dr. Perry enjoys watching the Detroit Lions and Detroit Red Wings. Dr. Perry also enjoys playing the piano and guitar in his free time.
